Justice in Rasana case not possible without CBI Probe: MPEJ

The members of Movement for Peace, Equality & Justice (MPEJ) in a press release issued here, have said that with one more officer associated with CB probe in to the Rasana case having been found to be tainted and suspended in the past for his alleged doubtful role, the justification for the people's demand for CBI probe gets further strengthened. They further said that there is every possibility that some innocents might suffer heavily if the report of the Branch is treated as final. There are many loop holes in it which the general public of the area wants to be re-investigated by CBI. Many times it has happened that some persons declared as offenders by the local police have been found innocent by the CBI. The case of School Bus conductor Ashok in the Gurgaon murder case of a School boy is a glaring example. After CBI probe he was proved innocent beyond doubt. They further said that if the people are demanding CBI enquiry what harm in their request. Why government is not interested in handing over the case to CBI? They questioned.
Thinking on these lines Former Forest Minister Ch. Lal Singh & Industry Minister Chander Prakash Ganga wanted that no innocent person should suffer & that is why they also stressed for CBI inquiry but their efforts were misinterpreted as supporting & shielding the culprits.
MPEJ members emphatically demand that the victim must get justice and real culprits must be severely punished but no should be played on her death. Victim is victim & not Muslim or Hindu. Offenders are also offenders & not Hindus or Muslims. We strongly ask for public hanging of the murders in this case.
