Rajouri, Dec 24: A 15-year-old student was killed and two others were injured in a road accident involving a motorcycle and a Tata mobile load carrier in the Manjakote area of Rajouri district on Wednesday.
Officials said the collision took place in Manjakote, leaving three students injured. All of them were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
However, one of the injured later succumbed to his injuries at Government Medical College (GMC) Rajouri. The condition of the other two injured students is stated to be stable.
The deceased has been identified as Mohd Aqib Khain, son of Mohd Rasib, aged 15 years, officials said.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated further investigation. (KNC)
