Poonch, Jan 1: Security forces on Thursday recovered a suspected drone-dropped consignment during routine surveillance near the Line of Control (LoC) in the Chakha Da Bagh area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district.
Officials said a suspicious bag was spotted by the Army in the border area, triggering security concerns. Following the recovery, the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) was immediately rushed to the site to examine the material and rule out any explosive threat.
Further investigation is underway to ascertain the nature and contents of the recovered consignment, they added. (KNC)
