Jammu, Mar 29: Organised by the J&K Amateur Boxing Association, the three-day J&K UT Boxing Championship started today under the aegis of Boxing Federation of India and J&K Olympic Association at MA Stadium, here today.
“Sponsored by J&K Sports Council, boxers from all over the UT, representing districts of Jammu, Srinagar, Poonch, Rajouri, Ramban, Udhampur, Pulwama, Samba, Kathua, Doda and Baramulla are participating in this competition,” informed general secretary of the Association, Rajan Sharma.
The competition is being officiated by the technical penal comprising Harimder
Pal Singh, Anil Wadhera, Rajneesh Kumar, Farooq Ahmad, Naresh Kumar, Rajesh Dogra, Gautam Kumar, Mushtaq Ahmad, Ishtiyaq Ahmad and Sandeep Singh.
