JAMMU, Nov 27: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has blacklisted IT vendor M/s LMES IT LLP and private individual Maharaj Krishan Wali from all future government recruitment-related tenders, following an Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) probe into the tainted 2020 Firemen/Firemen Driver selection process.
According to an order issued on November 26, 2025, the ACB’s verification found that LMES IT LLP was illegally awarded the recruitment contract despite being the L-2 bidder with a substantially higher quote than the lowest bidder (L-1). Investigators also determined that the company lacked the required experience and had submitted fraudulent financial documents belonging to another firm.
The government said the blacklisting was necessary to safeguard the integrity of future recruitment processes and prevent repeat violations.
