Day 4 is set to be another busy day for Indian Para athletes competing at the Paris 2024 Paralympics, with events scheduled across sports like shooting, archery, badminton, athletics and rowing. Top shooter Avani Lekhara will look to defend her title when she takes part in the R3 Mixed 10m Air Rifle Prone SH1 event.
Badminton stars Mandeep Kaur and Palak Kohli have quarterfinals scheduled in their respective women's singles categories. Mandeep will face Nigeria's Mariam Bolaji while Palak takes on Indonesia's Khalimatus Sadiyah. Nitesh Kumar and Suhas Yathiraj will aim for finals berths in the men's singles events.
Indian rowers Anita and Narayana Konganapalle will be competing in the PR3 Mixed Double Sculls final. Shooters Sidhartha Babu and Sriharsha Devaraddi Ramakrishna will also be participating in their respective rifle events. Athletes Nishad Kumar, Rakshitha Raju and Ravi Rongali will feature in the high jump, 1500m and shot put finals respectively.
The archery contingent will be led by Rakesh Kumar, who has quarterfinals and semifinals lined up in the men's individual compound category. Table tennis players Sonalben Patel and Bhavinaben Patel also have round of 16 clashes. It promises to be another exciting day for India at the Paralympics in Paris.
