GAMC Akhnoor holds awareness event

Tawi:   Government Ayurvedic Medical College (GAMC) Akhnoor  hosted an awareness event to mark Hepatitis Day on the College campus.

During the event, a CME session was organized which was attended by the faculty and staff of all departments. Expert speakers delivered lectures on this year's topic “Hepatitis can't wait” and enlightened the students and staff about the treatment and preventive measures.

The event was organized under the guidance of Prof. Dr Shashi Sudan Sharma, Principal GAMC Akhnoor. Dr. Twinkle Gupta, Dr. Shailej , Dr. Rajesh Sharma, Dr. Tanvi and Dr. Monika spoke on the topic.

The Speakers informed the participants that Ayurveda focuses on strong and healthy body with good immune system that decreases the chance of being affected by hepatitis disease.

All Faculty members, students, paramedical staff, local residents and patients were present on the occasion. They were advised to spread awareness about the silent pandemic of Hepatitis in the community.
