Dyson enters wet floor cleaning category with advanced roller technology

One of the largest names in vacuum cleaners and home appliances, Dyson is known for applying cutting-edge engineering to everyday cleaning tasks. Staying true to this ethos, the company has now entered the wet floor cleaning segment with the launch of its WashG1 machine. Designed from the ground up for hassle-free wet and dry cleaning of hard floors, the new Dyson product aims to lift standards in this category.

What makes the Dyson WashG1 stand out is its combination of hydration, absorption and extraction technologies. It utilizes a system of counter-rotating microfiber rollers that are precisely misted with water through 26 hydration points. This allows the ultra-dense 64,800 filaments per square centimeter of each roller to thoroughly absorb liquid spills as well as pick up dry dirt and debris. Powerful stain removal is thus achieved in a single sweep.

An important feature of the Dyson WashG1 is its advanced separation system. It efficiently separates debris and dirty water at the source for hygienic cleaning. This removes the hassle of touching contaminated water during disposal. The machine also boasts self-cleaning abilities to flush out residues after each use.

With engineering promises hassle-free cleaning of large floor spaces, the Dyson WashG1 is geared towards replacing old-fashioned mop-and-bucket processes. Only time will tell if it indeed sets new standards for wet floor cleaning. But it is clear that Dyson aims to transform this category with its signature approach of applying innovative technology to everyday chores. Indian consumers will be keeping a close eye on its upcoming availability in the country.
