A driver was killed in road accident in Malhori area of district Doda on this morning when a mini pick cab skidded off the track and rolled down into deep gorge.
Police said that incident took place at 9 am in Malhori around 20 kilometers from district headquarters when a vehicle bearing registration No JK06-4383 rolled down into deep gorge resulted on spot death of driver.
The deceased was identified as Abdul Quoom son of Qutob Din of Ganika, Doda. Immediately after incident locals, police and district administration rushed to the spot and started rescue operation.
Police has registered a case and handed over his body to the family for last rites after complete legal formalities.
