NEW DELHI: In an effort to boost sports in and , Minister of State for Home Affairs Hansraj Gangaram Ahir today directed the State Sports Council to develop infrastructure in the form of playgrounds and indoor stadium so that the budding players from the State could be facilitated.

In a review meeting, the Minister also directed the Council to provide sports equipment to the budding players and also to provide other type of assistance to them.

The Minister asked the Council to explore the possibility of accelerating the promotion of various sports in the State.
