REASI, AUGUST 16: As part of ‘At Home’ function, J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages and Department of Information & Public Relations in collaboration with District Administration presented a scintillating cultural programme based on the theme of patriotism, National Unity and Integrity .
Vice chairperson District Development Council, Sajra Qadir, ADDC Jyoti Slathia; ADC Abdul Star; CPO Sunita Kanchan; PO ICDS Renu Kumari; ACR Sanjay Badyal; ACD Anirudh Rai; DSWO Gulshan Kumar and all other district officers, BDC chairpersons were also present on the occasion.
As part of this function, a number of cultural items were presented by artists which include ‘Chul Chul ve Traiya’, patriotic song by Ravi Kumar followed by a patriotic performance on “Aae mere watan ke logon” by Suhani Thapa and Radhika sharma.
A play portraying the life of Shaheed-e-Bhagat Singh was presented by a group of local artists. Patriotic songs by Singers Chaman Lehri and Pankaj Sharma were also highly applauded by the audience.
The programme ended with “Aao Ek Tasveer Banache” by Raju Vijaypuria and vote of thanks was presented by ACD.
