On Friday, a shootout erupted between terrorists and security personnel in the Ganowpora region of Shopian district in south Kashmir.
According to the news agency, a joint team of police and army launched a search operation in the area which turned into a gunfight.
Two to three militants are believed to be trapped in the area, as per news agency.
