Boundary wall, portion of road washed away

Budgam, Mar 24 (KNO): A boundary wall of a road and a bridge over Nallah Afzarie in Hafroo locality of Chadoora in central Kashmir’s Budgam district were damaged after a portion of the road was washed away due to flash floods triggered by the incessant rains for the last four days in Kashmir valley.
Villagers told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that due to heavy rainfall the boundary wall and some portion of the road near Basant Bagh Hafroo was washed away.
An official, however, said that there is apprehension of collapsing of bridge if it continues raining.
Notably, the bridge over the Nallah connects several villages including Hafroo, Batpora and Narpora—(KNO)
