Authorities in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district closed Tehsil office Drugmulla for two days on Tuesday after one of the employees tested positive for the novel Coronavirus.
According to the agencies the 37-year-old employee, who contracted the disease, has been hospitalized.
Following the incident, authorities have shifted the working in a nearby ‘Niayabat (Lower part of tehsil), some half a kilometer from the main Tehsil office, so as to ensure that people do not suffer and the main office is properly sanitized in the meantime.
