SSB man allegedly shoots self with service rifle

Officials said a Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) trooper posted in Srinagar allegedly attempted suicide on Monday by shooting himself with his service rifle.

Quoting the officials, news agency KNO reported that Gagan Jha, son of Subodh Jha who was posted at State Motor Garage Bemina shot himself with his service rifle.

 

Jha was immediately referred to JVC Bemina for treatment, officials added.
