Date:

New Delhi, July 3

China has said it is in communication and negotiations with on lowering the temperatures through military and diplomatic channels.

“No party should engage in any action that may escalate the situation at this point,” said Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian shortly after Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in to assess the security situation along the Line of Actual Control (LAC).

The Chinese Foreign Office also said Beijing will take necessary measures to uphold the rights of Chinese businesses in India.
