Jammu Tawi, Jul 10: The Government of the Union Territory (UT) of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) on Friday ordered the stepping of the pay level of the Twenty Six (26) employees of the Secretariat from level 8 to level 8-A with massive hike in salary.
As per the order issued by the General Administration Department (GAD) on Friday, a total of 26 employees of the J&K Secretariat have got this benefit of increased pay level.
In pursuance of Government instructions below Article 77-B of J&K Civil Services Regulation Volume 1 read with SRO 225, sanction is hereby accorded to stepping up of pay level of J&K Secretariat upto pay level J&K Secretariat (Gazetted) Service from level 8 (47600-151100) to level 8-A (50700-160600), the government order reads.
Notionally, this order will be in place with effect from 10/072024 and monetarily from the date of issuance of this order, the GAD order reads.
