JAMMU, Jan 21: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has ordered a time-bound inquiry into allegations against three officials of the Designs, Inspections and Control Department under the Public Works (R&B) Department, Jammu.
According to an order issued by the department, Engineer-in-Chief Rajesh Kumar Gupta has been appointed as the Inquiry Officer to conduct a comprehensive probe into the allegations against Pankaj Gupta, Junior Assistant, and Kewal Krishan and Ashok Raina, both Senior Assistants.
The order directs the Inquiry Officer to submit a detailed report along with specific recommendations within 15 days. It also appoints Kuldeep Kumar, Accounts Officer of the department, as the Presenting Officer.
Pending completion of the inquiry, the three officials have been attached to the office of the Engineer-in-Chief until further orders.
