Questions of all MLAs being received by Assy Secretariat

Jammu Tawi, Jan 19: The Government of the Union Territory (UT) of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) has directed all the departments to be fully prepared and be ready with all the data and information to reply to the various questions to be raised in the upcoming budget session of the Assembly beginning from 2nd of February next month onwards.
“We are fully prepared for the upcoming budget session to respond to the questions being raised in the Assembly in the upcoming session,” Principal, Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, (GMC&H), Dr Ashustosh Gupta, informed when contacted by the Northlines.
Similarly, some senior officers of the Tourism Department, Health, Agriculture, PDD, Transport, Sports and some others said that they have been on their toes and all the staff has been directed to be ready with all the data and information to respond to the questions of the MLAs being raised in the upcoming budget session.
As per the democratic process, the questions submitted by the MLAs of all the political parties will first go to the Assembly Secretariat, then to the Commissioner Secretaries, after which these will be sent to the administrative secretaries and then to the concerned officers of various departments for replying in the Assembly during the upcoming budget session.
Meanwhile, sources said that all the departments of the J&K Government have pulled up their socks and have started collecting all the requisite data and information so as to remain ready for replying to the various questions to be raised in the upcoming budget session.
They also said that the questions and various querries are also being received by the various departments even during the session of the Assembly.
In this regard, the government has also directed all the departments to be ready with all the data and information so that there is no embarrassment in the House.
