Udhampur, Oct 12: A massive landslide struck the Narsoo-Samroli area along the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway on Saturday night, causing the collapse of a hotel and several adjoining buildings, officials said.
Rescue teams, police, and local authorities rushed to the site immediately, launching a large-scale rescue operation. The incident has created panic in the area.
The District Administration of Udhampur confirmed that relief and rescue efforts are ongoing on a war footing. Further details about casualties or damages are awaited.
