    Sakina warns of strict action against schools demanding capitation fee

    Srinagar, Dec 5: Jammu and Kashmir’s Education Minister, Sakina Itoo, on Thursday warned that the government would take strict action against private schools found violating government norms.

    Speaking to reporters in Srinagar, Itoo urged parents and guardians facing issues related to admission and capitation charges to approach the concerned authorities with proper evidence. She assured that the government would ensure accountability and take necessary action against the schools involved.

    Itoo also mentioned that the government had reversed the academic session and was aiming for the new academic session to begin soon, with winter vacations expected to be announced at the earliest.

    She emphasized that if any private school were found violating the regulations related to fee structures, the government would not hesitate to take stern measures against such institutions. (KNO)
