Jammu Tawi: The Department of Educational Studies at Central University of Jammu organized an informative Lecture titled “Incentives of Joining NCC”. The event, held at the Malviya Shiksha Bhavan, was aimed at the students of B.A. B.Ed. Integrated Programme.
The session began with the introductory remarks by Arvind, the Teacher Coordinator for the event, The resource person was welcomed by, Prof. Asit Mantry HoD, Department of Educational Studies. In his welcome address, Prof .Mantry reflected that the Department of Educational Studies keeps organising such events for the benefit of students to enrich their competencies. He further presented a token of appreciation to the distinguished guest.
Lt. (Dr.) Pankaj Mehta ANO and Senior Faculty, Department of Environmental Science, Central University of Jammu was the keynote speaker for the event. His presentation focused on the significant role of NCC in the all round development of students. He highlighted that NCC helps in building a sense of Duty, commitment, dedication, discipline, and moral values in the students so that they become able leaders and useful citizens. The session was highly interactive, allowing for meaningful engagement between the speaker and students. The success of this session underscores the department’s dedication to advancing students towards building exemplary skills for their bright future.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Arushi, where she expressed her gratitude towards the resource person for enlightening the students with their valuable experience and insights.
