    Jammu Tawi: In a heartwarming gesture of social responsibility, the Trikuta Nagar Welfare Council (TNWC) solemnized the marriage of a poor girl at Trikuta Palace in Jammu, demonstrating their ongoing commitment to community welfare. The initiative was led by TNWC President Shubchander Verma, Vice President Suneel Mahajan, Chairman Ashok Gupta, and District President Rekha Mahajan, under the banner of the Trikuta Council of Development, an organization dedicated to the upliftment of the underprivileged.

    The wedding ceremony, attended by prominent citizens and the Senior Citizen Rejuvenation Centre team, was a celebration of dignity and joy, providing a special day for the bride, groom, and their families. This initiative not only helped the couple start their new life together but also underscored the council’s dedication to supporting marginalized communities.

    In addition to the wedding, TNWC distributed free laptops to deserving students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Shubchander Verma highlighted that this effort aims to bridge the digital divide and provide students with the necessary tools for education. Rekha Mahajan, BJP District President Jammu South, reaffirmed her commitment to ensuring that every deserving student has access to quality education and the resources to succeed, further promoting inclusive growth and development in the region.
