    Jammu Tawi: The Department of Education at P.S.P.S. Govt. College for Women Gandhi Nagar hosted a seminar on the theme “Maximizing Potential: A Balanced Approach to Competitive Exam Prep for Undergraduates” on November 20th, 2024, in the AB.5 Smart Classroom. The seminar was conducted under the esteemed patronage of Dr. S.P. Saraswat, Principal of the college, who lauded the department’s efforts in organizing such a crucial event.

    The seminar was inaugurated with a formal welcome address by Dr. Neetu Raina, the organizing secretary of the event. Dr. Rupinder Kour, Head of the Department of Education, emphasized that the seminar’s goal was to provide undergraduate students with valuable insights and strategies to help them prepare effectively for competitive exams while balancing their academic responsibilities.

    Eminent speakers at the event included Chetan Ghai and Ritika Bhan, JKAS Rank-17 (2023), who shared their expertise with the students. Ritika Bhan, a proud alumnus of the college, offered practical advice on managing time, setting goals, and excelling in competitive exams alongside pursuing a degree.

    The seminar also featured student speakers from the 3rd semester, including Pratibha, Kashish, Rishita, Sonia, and Kavleen, who played a key role in the event’s success. More than 110 students attended the seminar, with many actively participating and expressing their views during the session.

    Esteemed dignitaries present at the event included Dr. Renu Anand, Prof. Anupama, Prof. Rohit, Prof. Satita, Prof. Suraj Mohini, and Prof. Poonam. The event concluded with a formal vote of thanks presented by Kashish.
