Jammu Tawi: GGM Science College celebrated National Integration Day with a vibrant and creative Poster-Making Event aimed at promoting unity and harmony. Held on November 19, 2024, the event was organized under the guidance of Principal Prof. (Dr.) Romesh Kumar Gupta and saw enthusiastic participation from students across various disciplines.
The theme of the event, ‘Unity in Diversity,’ was reflected in the posters created by the students, who showcased their artistic talents to convey powerful messages of mutual respect, togetherness, and cultural integration. Through their artwork, students emphasized the significance of maintaining social harmony and embracing diversity as a cornerstone of national cohesion.
Dr. Narinder Kumar and Dr. Jyotdeep Kour, who reviewed the posters, praised the students for their innovative designs and thoughtful expressions. They commended the participants for effectively using their creativity to promote national integration and shared values.
The event was coordinated by NSS Programme Officers Dr. Rahul Kait and Dr. Neha Sharma. They emphasized the importance of such initiatives in fostering a sense of patriotism and social responsibility among students. “Such events inspire students to uphold the ideals of unity and work towards building a harmonious and inclusive society,” Dr. Sharma remarked.
