    IIM Jammu inaugurates 3rd Batch of Nurturing Future Leadership Prog

    Jammu Tawi: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu today inaugurated the third batch of the Nurturing Future Leadership Program under the Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Programme. The program, aimed at developing leadership skills among educators, is being held from 18th to 22nd November 2024 at IIM Jammu’s permanent campus in Jagti. The initiative is fully funded by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.

    In his online address, Prof. B.S. Sahay, Director of IIM Jammu, welcomed the participants, emphasizing the Institute’s commitment to fostering educational excellence and leadership innovation. He highlighted the significance of the program in nurturing future academic leaders who will drive change in their respective institutions. He encouraged participants to engage actively, share institutional challenges, and collaborate on finding solutions. The participants, who represent a diverse range of institutes from across India, will undergo a comprehensive training schedule featuring lectures, interactive workshops, group discussions, role-plays, and case studies.

    Dr. Ateeque Shaikh, Program Director and Chairperson of Executive Education & Consultancy (EE&C) at IIM Jammu, delivered the welcome address at the inaugural session. He provided an overview of the program’s objectives and highlighted the role of IIM Jammu in shaping the future of academic leadership through its Executive Education and Consulting initiatives. The inaugural session also saw the presence of Dr. Anuja Akhouri, faculty member at IIM Jammu, who will be part of the training program. Throughout the five days, participants will engage in hands-on learning experiences designed to enhance their leadership abilities and improve their institutional impact.

    Dr. Pratik Maheshwari, Program Director and Co-Chairperson of Executive Education & Consultancy, IIM Jammu, concluded the ceremony by proposing the vote of thanks.
