Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for multiple development projects worth over 110 crore rupees in Sonepat district recently. Addressing a gathering after unveiling the statue of renowned freedom fighter Maharana Pratap, the Chief Minister noted that the ‘double-engine’ model of governance involving the state and central governments working in tandem has helped deliver welfare schemes to citizens for the past decade.
Prior to 2014, governments often failed to implement ambitious plans and live up to the promises made to people. However, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the nation is progressing according to the Constitution while ensuring facilities reach those in need. Significant progress has been achieved in sectors like job creation, social security for seniors, farmers support, rural electrification and more.
The CM further highlighted that over 1.5 lakh government jobs have been provided without foul play. Pensions for seniors have risen from a meagre 500 rupees to 3000 rupees now benefiting 20 lakh eligible recipients. Power supplies are now stable with 24×7 availability in contrast to shortages earlier. The statue of Maharana Pratap will continue motivating new generations with his valor, patriotism and courage.
Inaugurating school and infrastructure projects worth 88 crores and laying foundation stones for projects of 24 crores, the Chief Minister expressed satisfaction with ongoing development work improving citizens’ lives. Planting a sapling under the ‘One Tree for Mother’ campaign, he urged spreading environmental protection efforts to individuals. The people present extended full support to welfare policies ensuring progressive change.
