Hisar Airport Set for Liftoff: Domestic Flights to Take Off in August

The city of Hisar in Haryana is all set for its biggest aviation milestone yet. In an important announcement, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini revealed that domestic flight operations will commence from Hisar airport starting next month.

Addressing a ceremony organised by the state civil aviation department in Panchkula today, the CM stated that Alliance Air Aviation Limited will operate flights connecting Hisar to popular destinations across India from August onwards. This new development is predicted to provide a fillip to the local economy while enhancing air travel accessibility for residents.

As per the plan, the regional carrier will operate direct flights between Hisar and major cities including Ayodhya, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Jaipur and Jammu. An MoU was signed between the aviation ministry and Alliance Air to oversee flight operations at the airport.

Saini called it a red letter day for Haryana’s aviation sector. He expressed hope that the introduction of commercial passenger flights will work as a catalyst for local business and industry. Some pending works at the airport are expected to be completed soon to facilitate smooth flight operations.

The launch of domestic flight routes from Hisar is surely a milestone that will bring the region closer to the rest of the country in more ways than one. With improved connectivity by air, it will be easier for tourists to explore this culturally rich part of India while boosting industrial progress. Haryana’s burgeoning aviation sector is primed to take off to newer heights.
