Nothing Reveals Exciting New Budget Smartphone CMF Phone 1
Tech giant Nothing has offered a first look at its upcoming budget-friendly smartphone – the CMF Phone 1. In a cryptic but intriguing tweet, Nothing shared details of the device’s unique circular-shaped control likely used for volume control.
The device appears to have a bright orange color option and sleek textured back that stands out from other affordable phones. Nothing claims the CMF Phone 1 leverages their expertise in design and innovation to deliver an excellent entry-level experience.
Not much is known about the device’s internals, but rumors suggest the CMF Phone 1 will run on the capable Mediatek Dimensity 7200 chipset for 5G connectivity. It is expected to sport a large 6.67-inch OLED display with a fast 120Hz refresh rate. Camera specs include a dual 50MP rear setup for capturing high-quality photos.
Powering the device could be a sizable 5,000mAh battery with quick charging, keeping the phone running all day long. The CMF Phone 1 may also debut Nothing’s fresh Android-based NothingOS right out of the box.
By targeting the budget segment head-on, Nothing aims to introduce users to their unique products and brand identity. This suggests the CMF Phone 1 could undercut the highly successful Phone (1) and become the company’s most affordable release yet. Nothing is touting their focus on this overlooked category to deliver a standout experience.
