Inter-Zonal sports event organised at Bhalessa

Gandoh, May 19: The Youth Service and Department organised a multi-sports event at Zone Bhllessa as part of the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. The primary objective of the event is to foster the spirit of sportsmanship and engage students/ youth in sports activities and keep them away from the negative influences of society.

Over 20 different sports were included in the event, such as , Chess, Athletics, Kho Kho, Kabaddi and more. Both outdoor and indoor games were organized, including Yoga and Badminton.

Held under the esteemed presence of the SDM Gandoh, Arun Kumar Badyal, the sports event saw the participation of hundreds of students who showcased their hidden talents. Dignitaries from various sectors were also present to witness the occasion.

The SDM commended the Sports Department for its unwavering efforts and dedication in organising the event that aimed to promote sportsmanship and engage students in healthy physical activities. He emphasized the importance of a sound mind and a healthy body, urging everyone to encourage sports activities among students as a means to keep them away from drugs and other harmful substances.
