PDP leader shot dead by terrorists in Pulwama

Pulwama: A PDP leader was shot dead after terrorists shot at him at Pulwama, and . President of the Pulwama unit of the PDP, the leader Abdul Gani Dar was shot at by Hizbul Mujahideen terrorists at the Pinglan area in South Kashmir.

Gani was heading towards Srinagar when the incident took place. He received bullet injuries on his chest. He was admitted to hospital in a critical condition. The incident according to reports took place between the Pahoo and Pinglan villages of Pulwama district.

Ministers condemn killing

Minister for Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura, Minister for Law and Justice  Abdul Haq and Minister of State for Forest, , Animal & Sheep Husbandry, Fisheries and Cooperative Mir Zahoor Ahmad have expressed deep shock and grief over the killing of Advocate Abdul Gani Dar, District President, People's Democratic Party (PDP) who was killed in Pulwama today.

In their separate condolence messages, the Ministers expressed deep shock and grief over the incident and condemned the brutal killing of the advocate.

Conveying their condolences and sympathies to the bereaved family, the Ministers termed Late Dar as a dedicated social worker and said that he was a pious and noble soul and had done a lot for the betterment of the people of the area.
