Leh School closed for 5 days after outbreak of influenza like illness

Srinagar, Jun 27: Authorities in area of region have ordered closure of Lamdon Senior Secondary School for five days following the outbreak of influenzas like illness among over 90 persons in the institution.

Chief Executive Officer, District Disaster Management Authority of Leh has said, “As reported by CMO, Leh, 91 influenzas like illness cases have been reported from Lamdon Senior Secondary School, Leh.”

“In this regard, I am directed you to kindly close down the institution for 05 days as a precautionary measure,” reads the communique of DDMA Leh.
