    Weather to remain dry till next week

    Srinagar/, 13 November: Meteorological department on Saturday forecasted to remain dry in J&K till 20th of this month with light snowfall likely to occur thereafter on higher reaches in UT. 

    As per MeT official, J&K is going to have dry weather till next Saturday i.e., 20th of November with no wet spell to occur in between. However, it was also said that light to moderate snowfall may fall over higher reaches of J&K during 21th to 23rd of this month, which is predicted to be caused by western disturbance.

    Regarding the subsequent week's prediction, the officials said that no major snow spell is forecasted during that week. 

    As per MeT's daily recorded parameter data, last night temperature in Jammu was 13 degrees Celsius and day time tempresture was 25 degrees with clear sky. Srinagar was 0.1 degrees Celsius, Qazigund -1.0 degrees Celsius, Pahalgam -3.0 degrees Celsius, Kupwara -1.1 degrees Celsius, Kokernag 0.4 degrees Celsius, Gulmarg -2.0 and -7.1 degrees Celsius.
