Srinagar, Sep 13: An alleged active terrorist of Lasher-e-Toiba was apprehended by a joint team of security forces at a Naka checking in Pachhaar area of Pulwama district.
An official informed that acting on specific inputs about militant movement, a joint team of security forces laid a Naka in Pachhaar area of Pulwama on Monday evening. “During checking at naka, a terrorist of LeT was apprehended,” the official said and identified the arrested terrorist as Ishfaq Ahmad Dar of Kothipora, Chatergam Nowgam in district Budgam.
“One grenade besides other ammunition has been recovered from his possession,” the official said, adding that police have taken cognisance of the issue and further investigation has been set into motion.
