SHOPIAN, AUGUST 12: The selection process for the establishment of various Sheep Units (SUs) among the beneficiaries of Shopian district under various Centrally-Sponsored Schemes was held here today.
The selection was conducted by a designated committee of officers headed by District Sheep Husbandry Officer Shopian, Rafiq Ahmed in presence of Chief Planning Officer Khursheed Ahmed Khatana and District Development Council Members at Sheep Husbandry Complex Shirmal here.
The selection process of the beneficiaries was held openly through a draw of lots in which 28 beneficiaries were selected for establishing different Units of Sheep.
In view of cold response from recovered category population, application forms shall be re-invited under the Scheme ISDS 25 EWES/ does on 50 percent subsidy for female and SC/ST candidates and ISDS 25 EWES/does Units on participatory mode from SD Block Heerpora.
