Implementation of Horticulture schemes reviewed in Jammu

Tawi: The implementation of Horticulture development schemes in Kathua district were today reviewed here at a meeting chaired by Director Horticulture Jammu, Ram Savak.

The meeting was attended by Chief Horticulture Officer, District Level Subject Matter Specialists, MCC Kathua, Horticulture Development Officers and all field staff  of District Kathua .

The Chief Horticulture Officer appraised the chair about the status of various works and detail of physical and financial progress made under different Departmental Schemes i.e. CAPEX / Centrally Sponsored Schemes like MIDH, ATMA, PMDP, PMKSY, RKVY and TBO.

The Director Horticulture discussed in detail the strategy for implementation of different developmental Schemes in the District especially Ultra High Density Plantation

He directed them to gear up for High Density Plantation in the current Rainy Season and laid special emphasis on Aloe Vera and Strawberry cultivation. He impressed upon all the officers to achieve the allotted  targets in full under all the schemes  for the year 2021-22  and instructed them to ensure better implementation of Departmental schemes for the ultimate benefit of the fruit growers and  adopt due transparency in this respect.
