Srinagar, Jul 26: Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Armed J&K S J M Gillani Monday issued promotion orders of 2054 Constables of J&K Armed Police to the rank of Sg.Constables.
According to a statement, the promotion orders were issued by the Armed Police Headquarters J&K Jammu after the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) headed by ADGP Armed J&K as its Chairman found them fit for their promotion as Sg.Constables.
ADGP Armed J&K S.J.M Gillani congratulated the newly promoted Sg.Constables and their families. He expressed hope that the promoted officials will continue to work with the same zeal and zest and discharge their duties honestly and professionally, upholding the sanctity of public service.
The ADGP Armed J&K appreciated the efforts put in place by his Staff Officer Mahmood Ahmad and his team of officers for collection and scrutiny of service records and preparation of data of such a huge number of officials in a shortest possible time.
The ADGP also complimented DPC members for their vigorous efforts in accomplishing the promotion process of the officials within the given time.
