New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said the unwavering dedication of India’s youth is the “greatest strength of Viksit Bharat,” highlighting recent achievements across sectors including space, manufacturing, defence and agriculture during his monthly ‘Mann ki Baat’ address.
Reflecting on notable moments of November, the prime minister cited the 150th anniversary of ‘Vande Mataram’, the Constitution Day celebration at the Central Hall, and the hoisting of the ‘Dharmadhwaja’ atop the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. He also referenced the inauguration of the world’s largest LEAP engine MRO facility in Hyderabad and the induction of INS Mahe into the Navy.
Modi praised the momentum in India’s space ecosystem, mentioning Skyroot’s Infinity Campus and a viral video of a unique drone competition organised by ISRO, where young participants attempted to fly drones in Mars-like, GPS-free conditions using only cameras and onboard software. He said the perseverance of these youngsters—succeeding after repeated failures—mirrored ISRO’s own journey from Chandrayaan-2’s setback to Chandrayaan-3’s success.
He said this spirit of resilience reflects the “new confidence” of India’s young generation. “Every time I see the dedication of our youth and the commitment of our scientists, my heart fills with enthusiasm. This dedication is one of the greatest strengths of Viksit Bharat,” he added.
Modi also spoke about the rise of bee farming initiatives, India’s sporting achievements, the country winning the bid to host the 2030 Commonwealth Games, and his recent visits to South Africa for the G20 Summit and Bhutan.
