Kathua, Dec 08: A major Cordon and Search operation (CASO) was launched by security forces in the Parangoli area near Dayalachak-Billawar road in Kathua district after reports of suspected movement. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kathua, Shobhit Saxena, confirmed that the operation began promptly after the suspicion was raised. The operation, which started last night, is being carried out in coordination with the Army, Special Operations Group (SOG), CRPF, and other security agencies. Aerial surveillance has also been deployed to assist the search efforts.
SSP Saxena stated that local authorities are questioning residents and corroborating intelligence reports as part of the ongoing operation. The area remains under heightened security as the search continues.
