Registration of Management Aptitude Test (MAT) begins

Jammu Tawi:  The All- Management Association (AIMA) is the apex body for management in India, dedicated to enhancing management skills and capabilities through various programs, initiatives, and examinations. One of its flagship offerings is the Management Aptitude Test (MAT). This -level entrance exam serves as the gateway to over 600 prestigious B-schools across India, facilitating admissions into MBA and PGDM programs.

From May 2024, AIMA is introducing MAT 2.0, an evolved version of MAT, which covers newer segments like current and economic trends. MAT 2.0 is a new-age entrance test that offers a fresh perspective on management aligned with contemporary industry practices and growing educational requirements.

The alterations in MAT 2.0 encompass various aspects, including exam structure, content focus, and duration. Notable changes include a streamlined exam structure featuring 150 questions to be attempted within 120 minutes, providing candidates with a more focused and efficient examination experience. Scheduled to be conducted through various modes, including Paper Based Test (PBT), Computer Based Test (CBT) and Internet Based Test (IBT). MAT offers candidates flexibility in choosing a mode that best suits their preferences and convenience.

Candidate registrations are ongoing for MAT May 2024. MAT is scheduled to be held in Jammu in computer-based test (CBT) and paper-based test (PBT) modes. Candidates online apply at https://mat.aima.in/. Graduates in any discipline or Final-year students of Graduate Courses can also apply. The last date of registration for PBT is May 28, 2024, and the test is scheduled for June 2, 2024. The last date of registration for CBT is May 19, 2024, and the test is scheduled for May 26, 2024. The examination fee for MAT May 2024 is Rs.2100. Candidates can opt for an additional test mode by paying an extra fee of Rs.1200. Both the PBT and CBT exams will be held on Sunday.

The list of Participating B-Schools are Lovely Professional University (Phagwara), Shoolini University (Solan), Chitkara University (Rajpura), New Delhi Institute of Management (New Delhi), IMS Ghaziabad, Sharda University (Greater Noida), University of Petroleum & Energy Studies (Dehradun) and GD Goenka University (Gurugram).
