RE aspirants accuse J&K Bank for shoddy affairs
Srinagar, Jan 04 : The Aspirants who appeared in online test in 2015 have been losing their patience for inordinate delay in announcing the results. Some aspirants on anonymity accused the J&K Bank’s closed door selection as the guarded secret. Notably, thousands of candidate had appeared for the post of Relationship Executives in J&K Bank for which interviews were held last year. “Such delay in selection process smells fishy as the past track record of the Bank in many affairs was not encouraging we are concerned over the delay in the announcement of the final results”, said a group of aspirants who met this correspondent in University campus. They also expressed disappointment over the issue of J&K Bank taking cover of Judicial stay over its bringing under RTI domain.
The process for the appointment of Relationship Executives (RE) in the Bank was held in April 2015, and online test was held in the month of September last year.
They said around 40,000 candidates appeared for the online test at various centers and more than 3000 were called for interview. The result of the test was published in various news papers on December 7 last year.
The candidates said the delay in selection process has been a cause of concern for them.
They have appealed the newly appointed Chairman Parvez Ahmed to look in this issue.
An agency report from Srinagar, however, reported that the Chairman J&K Bank Parvez Ahmad had told it that aspirants should not be worried and the results will be published very soon. He said that they were busy with demonetization.
“Results got delayed due to demonetization, we are after it and final selection list will be out very soon,” Parvez Ahmad said.
