PM Modi Unveils ‘Seva Teerth’ Complex in New Delhi

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday unveiled the name of the new government building complex ‘Seva Teerth’ in the national capital and is scheduled to formally inaugurate it along with Kartavya Bhavan-1 and 2 later in the day.

The Prime Minister will also address a public programme at Seva Teerth in the evening. The inauguration underscores the government’s push towards creating a modern, efficient and citizen-centric governance ecosystem.

Seva Teerth houses key administrative offices including the Prime Minister’s Office, the National Security Council Secretariat and the Cabinet Secretariat, which were earlier functioning from different locations. The new complex brings these institutions under one roof in a future-ready facility.

Kartavya Bhavan-1 and 2 will accommodate major ministries such as the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

Both complexes feature digitally integrated offices, structured public interface zones and centralised reception facilities aimed at enhancing inter-ministerial coordination, efficiency and public service delivery.

The buildings are also equipped with advanced safety and security systems, including smart access controls, surveillance networks and modern emergency response infrastructure, ensuring a secure and accessible environment for officials and visitors. (Agencies)
