Jammu, Mar 3: Traffic Police City Jammu on Tuesday issued a comprehensive advisory ahead of Holi celebrations on March 4, 2026, outlining strict measures to ensure smooth traffic flow and public safety across the city.
Anticipating heavy rush and public gatherings, authorities have imposed a complete ban on wrong and roadside parking to prevent congestion. The department warned of stringent action against drunken driving, overspeeding, reckless and dangerous driving, stunt biking, and riding without crash helmets.
Special emphasis has been laid on curbing stunt biking, which officials described as a serious risk to both riders and pedestrians. Event organisers and citizens have been directed to strictly adhere to traffic norms to ensure hassle-free movement during the festivities.
