Srinagar, Nov 13: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Wednesday attached a property in the Zaldagar area of Srinagar in connection with a case involving the killing of two non-locals earlier this year.
According to officials, the attached property belongs to Manzoor Ahmad Langoo and is linked to his son, Adil Manzoor Langoo, who is currently in detention. Adil is accused in the February 7, 2024 killings of two non-locals in Srinagar. The property was seized under Section 25 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA). The NIA’s move is part of ongoing investigations into the case, and the agency has reportedly intensified efforts to dismantle the network behind the killings. Further legal proceedings and actions against the accused are expected as the investigation continues. (KNO)
