Jammu Tawi: Jammu & Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) leaders, led by its Provisional President Rattan Lal Gupta, visited Gaushalla Amphalla on the auspicious occasion of Gopal Ashtami, here today. NC leaders engaged in serving and caring for cows at Gaushalla, demonstrating a hands-on commitment to the humane treatment of animals. Speaking on the occasion, Gupta said that Gopal Ashtami, celebrated as a day of reverence for Lord Krishna and his divine association with cows, holds special significance in preserving the cultural fabric of Jammu & Kashmir. Mahant Raj Kumar Gupta, President of Gau Shalla Jammu, emphasized the festival’s spiritual and cultural significance, emphasizing the virtues of kindness, service, and reverence toward animals central to Lord Krishna’s teachings. The visiting NC leaders reaffirmed their dedication to maintaining traditional practices, emphasizing the importance of community service, heritage, and respect for all forms of life.
