Modi Facilitated Return Of Indian Students From Conflict-Hit Ukraine, Says Rajanth Singh

GHAZIABAD, Apr 3: When the Russia-Ukraine conflict escalated in 2022, thousands of Indian students found themselves stuck in the middle of the war zone. With bombings and shelling all around, their desperate parents appealed to the Indian government to bring their children back home safely. Prime Minister Narendra Modi stepped up with his exemplary diplomacy skills and decisive leadership to facilitate the safe return of over 22,500 stranded students.

As per the Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, no other world leader except PM Modi had the ability to directly contact the Presidents of Russia, Ukraine and the US during the war-time and negotiate a temporary ceasefire. It was due to PM Modi’s phone calls that Russia and Ukraine stopped fighting for 4.5 hours, allowing evacuation flights to run and rescue thousands of Indian youths. The whole operation was a huge success with zero casualties, gaining Modi global praise.

Singh highlighted how under Modi’s leadership, India has gained immense respect on the global stage. World leaders recognize India’s newfound strength and potential. Modi’s vision is to transform India into one of the strongest economies by 2047. His welfare schemes have helped lift 25 crore people out of poverty already. Vaccine Maitri during the COVID pandemic exemplified India’s role as a capable powerhouse.

With his impeccable communication and problem-solving skills, PM Modi proved that no challenge is insurmountable for New India. The safe return of every student is a testament to Modi’s unwavering commitment towards people’s welfare, even in times of crisis. His actions have cemented India’s place as a rising superpower that can impact global events positively.
