Automobile giant Mahindra & Mahindra has announced that bookings for its highly anticipated five-door SUV – the Thar Roxx – will commence from October 3rd. What’s more, the homegrown automaker aims to hand over the first set of vehicles to excited customers by Dussehra.
Available in a range of trims, the versatile Thar Roxx is priced competitively starting from Rs. 12.99 lakh for the base petrol manual variant. While the details and rates for the range-topping 4×4 diesel automatic are still under wraps, Mahindra has revealed prices for several other variants powered by both fuel choices. Customers can also look forward to experiencing the capabilities of the Thar Roxx through test drives kicking off from mid-September across India.
At over 4.4 meters in length, the Mahindra Roxx boasts an imposing yet rugged appearance. Its best-in-class dimensions ensure unmatched off-road and on-road manners. Under the hood, buyers can opt for a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol or a 2.2-litre turbodiesel, mated to either a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission. Safety is taken care of through features like Advanced Driver Assistance Systems and a 360-degree camera. You also get to select from seven striking exterior shades.
