    Leadership transition in Rajput Sabha: Shamsher Charak named Working President

    Jammu Tawi, March 08: In a grand and well-attended gathering of the Shri Amar Kshatriya Rajput Sabha, the Chairman of the Sabha, Justice (Retd.) Pavitra Singh, formally entrusted the responsibility of Working President of the organization to Shamsher Singh Charak.

    While announcing the appointment, Justice (Retd.) Pavitra Singh expressed deep confidence in the leadership qualities and vision of Shamsher Singh Charak. He stated that with his rich experience, dedication and commitment towards social service, the Shri Amar Kshatriya Rajput Sabha would continue to move forward with renewed energy and would further strengthen its mission of serving the Rajput community. He added that the organization has always worked for the welfare, unity and collective progress of the community, and under the able guidance of Shamsher Singh Charak it would scale new heights in its social initiatives.

    Accepting the responsibility, Shamsher Singh Charak conveyed his heartfelt gratitude to the Chairman and members of the Sabha for reposing their faith and confidence in him. He assured that he would discharge the responsibility with complete dedication, sincerity and a deep sense of commitment towards the cause of the community. He emphasized that his focus would remain on addressing the issues faced by the Rajput community, generating employment opportunities for the youth, promoting dignity and empowerment of women, and ensuring care, respect and security for the elderly members of society.

    On the occasion, Justice (Retd.) Pavitra Singh ceremonially honoured Shamsher Singh Charak by tying a traditional turban on his head and presenting him with a ceremonial sword. The gesture symbolized the trust, responsibility and honour bestowed upon him to work for the unity, dignity and welfare of the Rajput community.

    The programme also coincided with International Women’s Day, and marking the occasion, Shamsher Singh Charak honoured politician Shikha Bandral as a symbol of Matri Shakti (women’s strength). She was presented with a traditional turban in recognition of her contributions and commitment towards social causes and public life.

    The guests and participants attending the gathering were warmly received and welcomed by renowned cartoonist Chandrashekhar, whose presence added a distinctive charm to the event. The programme concluded with a cordial interaction among the attendees, followed by refreshments served to all present.

    Among the prominent personalities present on the occasion were Sandeep Singh Manhas, Tarun Singh Jamwal, Ambika Manhas, Prerna Nanda, Babu Hussain Malik, Rahul Chaddha, Sindhu Jyoti Sharma and Nitin Rana, along with several other distinguished members of the Sabha and respected dignitaries representing different sections of society.
