    Kreeda Bharati to develop synergy with sports bodies

    , May 10: Kreeda Bharati J&K shall development synergy with other existing associations so as to develop sports at the grass root level in the country.

    This was stated by secretary of the Kreeda Bharati J&K, RC Vaid while sharing the details of the deliberations of Adhiveshan at Ahmedabad in Gujarat in a meeting held under the chairmanship of president, Shiv Kumar Sharma.

    “Those state units of Kreeda Bharati have been asked to develop a relation with state sports associations with the sole aim to achieve desired results at the grass root level,” informed R C Vaid.

    The meeting also informed that the delegates from across the country were also told to felicitate, encourage and boost those young champions at the district level.

    In the meantime, vice president and incharge of the ongoing Mahila Sarvekshan in J&K, Dr Sanjogita Soodan informed that over 30 women athletes have been interviewed from districts of Poonch, Rajouri, Udhampur and Jammu and their details have been uploaded following the laid down guidelines.

    Later, president, Shiv Kumar Sharma issued necessary instructions to the district units for spreading the sports movement by encouraging the traditional games. He asked the district change to complete the process of setting up of district units at the earliest.

    Among others, who attended the meeting were Sunil Mahajan (vice president), Rahul Sharma (joint secretary), Raj Kumar, Ashutosh Sharma (both executive members) and members of the proposed Udhampur unit.
