    J&K Govt Sanctions ₹1,975.16 Lakh for Permanent Restoration of 4th Tawi Bridge Approach

    Jammu, Jan 17: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has accorded administrative approval for the permanent restoration of the damaged approach of the 4th Tawi Bridge near Bhagwati Nagar, which was affected during the August 2025 floods.

    The project has been approved at an estimated cost of ₹1,975.16 lakh and aims to ensure long-term stability and safety of the vital bridge approach. The restoration work is intended to address flood-related damage and prevent future risks to traffic and infrastructure in the area.
